Additional Information

A South Lansing family is looking forward to moving into a brand
new house in June! Ashley and Tim dreamed of owning a home that
accommodates the needs for their disabled children as well as offers
stability for the whole family.
Both Elliott and Xander have cerebral palsy and are wheelchair bound.
Ashley and Tim currently rent a home that is too small for their family
which is not wheel chair accessible and has mold issues.
Family photo includes Tim & Ashley and their four children, Taylor,
11; Elliott, 8; Xander, 7 and Madisyn, 3.
The builders will be building a 5-bedroom, 2-bath ranch on a full
basement. The house will be Energy Star rated upon completion,
providing affordable warmth for the homeowners and their children.
The HBA has teamed up with Habitat for Humanity to build the home.
Special thanks to HBA builder members for leading this project: Aaron Tobias of Century Construction, Ray Evert
of Evert Construction, Brent Forsberg, T.A. Forsberg, Jay Nyboer of Nyboer Builders & Gary Hengesbach of
Westphalia Builders.
Habitat for Humanity Lansing and the Home Builders Association of Greater Lansing are joining together to build a
home in a week. The Builders Blitz is part of a nationwide effort to involve builders and trades in Habitat for
Humanity. Nationwide, 65 Habitat for Humanity affiliates and Home Builder Associations are participating. Our
Blitz Build will take place June 9-13, 2014 on Wayne Street in Lansing.
We need your help! Any donations you can provide to help support this loving family are greatly appreciated. All
