Fun family weekend for listeners & musicians who enjoy old-time fiddle & traditional music. Plenty of jamming, groups & individuals performing on stage, workshops starting @ 10 a.m. both days, square & round dancing both evenings, & food. Gates open @ 8 a.m. both days, open to public, rain or shine. All acoustic instruments welcome, no horns or drums, please. Camping available @ 15 per night. Co-sponsored by Michigan Fiddlers' Assoc & Jonesville Lions Club.
Workshops include Acoustic Bass, Backup Piano, Banjo, Beginning Guitar, Bowing for Better Fiddling, Fiddle Improvisation, Finger Dependence & Independence for Better Fiddling, Playing Fiddle Backup in a String Band or Jam, Learn a Fiddle Tune, Hammered Dulcimer, Mountain Dulcimer, Mandolin, Using a Tablet. There will also be two fiddle jams and a slow jam.
