Grand Ledge Area District Library to host Babysitting Workshop for Teens
The Grand Ledge Area District Library will host a Babysitting Workshop on
Saturday, June 7th from 10 am - 4:00 pm. This program is open to teens 12 – 18 years of age. Teens will learn emergency procedures, discipline techniques, diapering, age appropriate activities, pediatric CPR, rescue breathing, the Heimlich maneuver, and basic first aid skills needed while babysitting.
Participants will need to bring a sack lunch and, if desired, an afternoon snack. Registration and class fee of $30 is required. Registration must be completed 48 hours prior to program date. Registration can be completed by phoning the library at 517.627.7014 or by stopping by the circulation desk at either location of the library. All checks should be made payable to C.P.R.C. Inc.
