Authors In the Garden Room Series with Lori Nelson Spielman

This summer the Grand Ledge Area District Library will host this author series in our historic meeting room, right on Jefferson Street, with the doors and windows open and plants inside to create an old fashioned front porch feel, but with air conditioning available and no bugs! It runs every other Thursday night from June 19th through July 31, from 6 to 7 p.m.
Guest author Lori Nelson Spielman is a hometown, Grand Ledge native and will be visiting on June 19th. Her book “The Life List” tells the story of a young woman who embarks on “a year-long journey of self-discovery after her mother passes away and leaves her an inheritance with one big stipulation — in order to receive it she must complete the items on the “life list” of goals she made for herself when she was 14. “Like any author, I’m often asked how I came up with the idea for my novel. My answer comes easily. The seed for The Life List was found in an old cedar box.”
