The Arthritis Foundation, Great Lakes, Michigan is hosting an Arthritis Advocacy Day on June 3 in Lansing at the Radisson at 111 N. Grand Avenue. This is the first such day devoted to bringing Arthritis Foundation advocates together from across the state to learn about issues important to people with arthritis.
More than 2.3 million Michigan adults and 10,300 children in the state have been diagnosed with arthritis.
Following advocacy training and a complimentary breakfast, the advocates will join guests at Older Michiganians Day on the Capitol lawn to meet their elected officials, share their arthritis stories and raise the volume on the statewide discussion about arthritis.
