MPHI Announces Flu Shot Clinic
Okemos, Michigan: As we enter fall, we also enter the flu season. To help keep families healthy, Michigan Public Health Institute (MPHI) is holding a flu vaccine clinic in our Interactive Learning Center on the Okemos campus. We invite members of the public to join MPHI employees and their families to take advantage of this service.
The Centers for Disease Control recommends an annual flu vaccine (either the flu shot or the nasal spray flu vaccine) as the best way to reduce the chance of getting seasonal flu and spreading it to others. Renee Canady, MPHI CEO, stated “Getting the flu vaccine is something that each of us can do to contribute to the overall wellbeing of the community.”
