Easy Bake Oven Contest Is Coming To Lansing

According to the Lansing Parks and Recreation Department, a statewide youth baking event is coming to Lansing next week. The Michigan Easy Bake Off will be held on Wednesday, October 17 at the Schmidt Community Center on Wise Road in Lansing from 6pm-8pm. The teams for the youth baking event need to consist of a parent/guardian and a child. Each team that participates will get the supplies to create and design a dessert using the Deluxe Easy Bake Oven. Teams will compete for the Lansing area first place bake-ribbon and the winner will move on and represent Lansing at the state competition.

The contest will cost you $15 and you need to get registered ahead of time by calling 517-483-6686.
