Calgary Stampede Lays Down the Foodie Gauntlet With Pizza Topped With…WHAT?

It's almost "fair time" all over North America. One of the biggest - the Calgary Stampede,  will be held this year July 3rd through the 12th. And, this year, Michigan's own Stevie Wonder will close out the Stampede concerts on July 12th.

And, besides the concerts (and, oh yeah - the rodeo) one of the big attractions recently has been the crazy food offered on the midway. Last year, according to CBCNews, the food getting all the press was the "scorpion pizza", and yes - those are real scorpions.

This year, they've amped up the challenge to pizza foodies everywhere. Click here and scroll down to find out what they're putting on pizza this year.

I'd actually pick the scorpions over this, I think.
