Body Found In Lansing Sewer System
Officials with the Lansing Police Department and the Lansing Fire Department are asking residents to avoid the area of Herbert and Wilson Streets in Lansing as officials are working on an extraction of a possible body found in the Lansing sewer system. That area is also near Cedar Street and Baker Streets in Lansing. According to the Lansing State Journal, a public service employee was doing a routine check on the sewer system at about 10 a.m. and discovered what police believe to be a body. At this time, police have not released any more details about the body.
