If it stays clear tonight, we MAY get to see the aurora borealis, or northern lights in Mid-Michigan.According to scientists, the best viewing would be after midnight. The sun shot out a strong "solar flare" on Wednesday. Scientists who have been through this before, say it could be a strong one and would hit and affect the earth's magnetic field sometime tonight.
