Somebody, somewhere could be holding, or well, not holding a Michigan Lottery Powerball ticket that is worth a cool million dollars.

Is it you? I can tell you with a reasonable degree of certainty that it's not me.

But, according to WILX-TV, somebody purchased the winning ticket about a year ago. And that is the hook right there. It was about a year ago...that is the length of time that you have to claim your Powerball money after the winning numbers are drawn. One year.

The ticket was purchased in Ionia on September 25 of last year, and if the winnings aren't claimed in the allotted time, all of the cash goes to Michigan's School Aid Fund.

Get more info from WILX-TV here and good luck from me, your non-millionaire friend.
