The 2015 Golden Globes nominations are in and we already can’t wait for the awards ceremony! Comedic duo Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are returning to host the Globes for the third straight year, which is awesome if you like awesome things. But enough of that, let’s get down to the list of nominees!

‘Birdman’ led the movies with 7 total nominations and ‘Fargo’ led the TV mentions with 5. Noticeable snubs include Oscar hopefuls ‘Unbroken’ and ‘American Sniper’, both of which were shut out completely. Being these are the Golden Globes, which are always unpredictable at best, there are certainly some surprises including Jennifer Aniston getting nominated for Best Actress for her performance in ‘Cake’ and the little seen UK film, ‘Pride’, getting a nomination for Best Picture, Comedy.

On the TV side, it was a welcome break from the repetitive Emmy nominations (no 'Modern Family'!) with many new shows being recognized including ‘Fargo’, ‘Jane the Virgin’ and ‘Transparent’. Oddly, ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ which was a surprise win last year for Best Comedy, wasn’t even nominated this year (though most would argue that the show actually improved over its second season).

Kate Beckinsale, Peter Krause, Jeremy Piven and Paula Patton joined the Hollywood Foreign Press Association to announce the 2015 Golden Globes nominations.

The 2015 Golden Globes awards ceremony will be be broadcast live on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at 5 p.m. PST/8 p.m. EST on NBC. Until then, check out the list of nominations below as they are announced.
