As far back as I can remember, I've been a big fan of the YMCA.  I had a membership to the YMCA back in the '70s and '80s.  There was and still is nothing like working out at the YMCA.

You can go there to lift weights, play basketball, swim, play racquetball, and volleyball.  You name it and the YMCA most likely has any workout available.

Here's the best part, if you're looking for a job this summer or perhaps you know someone looking for a fun job, the YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing is hiring.

According to WILX:

Our dedicated and energetic camp counselors are second to none, and we are currently looking to hire new part-time employees to expand our team at our three day camp locations including Westside YMCA (West Lansing). Oak Park YMCA (South Lansing) and Camp Pawapi in Williamston.

This sounds like a really good opportunity if you're looking for a job that will help create goals for kids.  With the end of the school year upon us, many families will be looking forward to sending their kids to YMCA camp.

WILX also adds:

We are excited after a difficult year due to COVID that we are once again looking to grow our organization,"said Jeff Scheibel, President and CEO, YMCA pf Metropolitan Lansing.  "Summer is traditionally a very busy time for the YMCA as kids are out of school and parents are looking for enriching summer experiences.

By the way, if and when you're employed by YMCA of Metropolitan Lansing, all employees will receive free membership.
