Winter Weather Advisory In Effect
So I'm minding my business in the WITL Studio this afternoon and a colleague of mine busted through the door and said, "Hey did you know it's snowing?"
Actually, even though we have a lot of windows in the studio I hadn't noticed. But when I looked out the window, there wasn't much snow. But when I left this evening...there was much more falling.
So welcome to Michigan weather, my friends. In fact the National Weather Service in Grand Rapids has reported that we are under a Winter Weather Advisory. Here's more from their website:

* WHAT...Snow. Total accumulations of 1 to 3 inches. Lesser
accumulations on roadways. Snow possibly sticking to trees. Winds gusting as high as 50 mph.* WHERE...Portions of central, south central and southwest
Michigan.* WHEN...From 2 PM Thursday to 8 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Slippery roads during the evening commute. Power outages can be expected with strong winds and sticky snow in trees.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Halloween decorations should be secured against strong winds.

Allow extra travel time tonight. Be alert for possible branches on roadways
