Wind Chill Advisory Continues For Mid-Michigan
The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Chill Advisory for the Mid-Michigan area until noon today. (Monday, January 21st) The National Weather Service says that we will have "dangerously cold wind chills this morning". Wind chills as low as 20 to 25 below zero area expected.
The National Weather Service says that a Wind Chill Advisory means that cold air and the wind will combine to create low wind chills. Frostbite and hypothermia can occur if precautions are not taken. Make sure you wear a hat and gloves. The cold wind chills could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.
