Remember a few years back when the Michigan DNR would tell us there were no cougars in Michigan?

Yeah, about that - things have changed. According to WZZM - Channel 13 in Grand Rapids, the DNR just released trail cam video of a cougar eating a deer. The video is from a camera set up by two hunters from Remus (west of Mt. Pleasant), on land in Mackinac County, which is the county just over the Mackinac Bridge in the U.P.

I don't know how this cougar feels about walking five miles over the bridge, but....
