After all of the rain over the last two days a few roads and intersections throughout the Lansing-Area are flooded. We are expected to have a break in the rain for Wednesday and Thursday but be careful in areas of large water puddles as well as roads that are clearly covered in water, because the water may be deeper than you think.

In Lansing, as of 10am, there are a number of streets closed due to weather. Those roads are:

  • Edgewood Boulevard at LaBelle
  • Pleasant Grove from Miller to Jolly
  • Aurelius Road at Jolly Road
  • Lindbergh east of Pennsylvania
  • 127 Kalamazoo Exits are Closed
  • 3300 Danbury Crossroad

Also the R.E. Olds Transportation Museum to close while they work to keep the facility as well as the collection of items inside safe. The museum is located on the banks of the Grand River.

Also in Mason there are a few roads closed due to flooding, updated as of 9am.

Expect for the flooded to recede over the next day or so, so some of these roads will be passable soon
