You would think that if you lived through the apparent hell of playing for the Detroit Lions, you would be best buddies for life. Nope.

Like many Detroit Lion fans, I enjoying rooting on former Lions players who have found themselves with better teams. It gives me something to do during the NFL Playoffs, which have been lacking for the Lions for over five years now.

I feel like the Lions franchise is so bad, that to be fulfilled as a player now, you have to get traded somewhere else to get some playoff playing time.

Such is the case for two ex-Lions, who were teammates when the Lions DID make the playoffs way back in 2011 and 2014.

Ndamukong Suh, now with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, squared off against another former Lion, Matthew Stafford of the Los Angeles Rams Sunday in Tampa, in a hard fought a close playoff battle.

Suh, a defensive lineman who is no stranger to controversy, having once kicked a Green Bay player during a game, led a terrific rush against Stafford, now playing quarterback for the Rams.

Suh bum rushed Stafford early in Sunday's showdown, forcing Matthew to get rid of the ball quicker than he wanted, leading to an incompletion.

But Suh couldn't let it go. He taunted Matthew saying something the officials found to be a little vulgar, as they flagged Suh for taunting, meaning a fifteen yard penalty and an automatic first down.

Ironically, Suh thought Stafford had kicked him while getting up off the ground, leading to the harsh words.

Fans online, meanwhile, found joy in Suh complaining about being kicked.
