A storm system is headed towards Michigan this weekend, and with it, we will see some rain and thunderstorms through the overnight on Friday and into Saturday.

If you have any holiday decorations outside, make sure that they are securely fastened to something, or won't be blown away. We are in store for some very strong winds this weekend.

On the plus side, temperatures will be around the 50s for most of the weekend, however, we run into the possibility of strong winds that will be anywhere from 40 to 50 MPH here in Mid-Michigan. In other locations, those gusts may be higher.

With those strong winds, expect to see some possible damages to homes, property, and vehicles with debris.

We should see those strong winds diminish by late Saturday night.

Sunday is going to be nice across the Mid-Michigan area. We should see highs in the mid-'40s, with sunshine.
