Dogs May Be Able To Sniff Out Coronavirus

Can your dog sniff out coronavirus if you have it?

A company called Medical Detection Dogs says they may be able to train dogs to detect the virus. Dogs can sniff out other things like cancers, diabetes, and malaria, so why not coronavirus? They could even sniff it out before you show any symptoms.

It's plausible, since each of the afore-mentioned diseases has its own specific smell that only the sensitive noses of dogs can detect.

They want to use these dogs in crowded areas to pick out anyone who has COVID-19. If a potential infected person is picked out, he/she would be separated from the others and given complete tests.
