Veggie Tray Recall In Michigan
The latest food recall involves Del Monte freshcut vegetable trays. Del Monte announced over the weekend that the veggie trays are being recalled because the trays are suspected to be the source of a parasite that has sickened over 75 people in four states. According to Food Safety News, Del Monte Fresh Produce Inc. is recalling three sizes of vegetable trays containing broccoli, cauliflower, carrots and dill dip. The company distributed the pre-cut vegetables in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota and Wisconsin.
