Two more events have been recently canceled in order to help contain the spread of COVID-19.

The Capital Clash between Michigan and Michigan State on April 14th has been canceled  and the GLIAC Baseball Tournament from May 7th-10th has been canceled as well.

This is all because of the coronavirus pandemic, and it's very important to take care of each other, which includes families, friends, co-workers, basically anyone and everyone.

Here's the other thing. The 2020 regular season affecting the Lansing Lugnuts is delayed indefinitely.

"...This is far bigger than baseball," said Lugnuts General Manager Tyler Parsons. "Once the coronavirus threat has passed, Cooley Law School Stadium will welcome baseball fans back to the stadium."

The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference released a statement as well:

Effective immediately, the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, in consultation with the Council of Presidents and athletic directors, has canceled all athletically-related activity through May 31, 2020. During this unprecedented world-wide fight against the COVID-19 threat, the GLIAC supports national and NCAA efforts to protect student-athletes, coaches, fans and communities.
