Okay, before we get to the information you need to know, I have to tell you that this area on 127 is one that I have traveled, maybe just like you, about a million times. I can never drive there or think about that area without remembering that one time out of a million a few years ago when I was on my way one Friday night to the Whiskey Barrel Saloon (where you could drink til you're full and ride Dick the Bull) for a WITL Night. On the way there as I was passing the Trowbridge ramp I looked in the rear view mirror of the WITL Van to see an eighteen wheeler hitting it's brakes so hard that it was making some incredibly loud noises, filling the air with brake dust and other stuff on the road, to keep from hitting me.

I don't know what had happened behind me that had gotten the Wittle Van and the truck in the same place but I'm convinced that had the truck driver not applied his brakes in such a violent fashion...well...let's not even think about that right now...

Enough about me, let's talk about what's up tomorrow morning.

The ramp off of north 127 to Trowbridge is going to be closed starting at around 9:30 a.m. and according to the Lansing State Journal, it's going to be for around two hours.

The reason? Crews will be repairing guard rails and attenuation drums.

By the way, what the devil is an attenuation drum? Get more info here about the closing tomorrow from the Lansing State Journal.
