Tough News For Spartan Fans: Kenneth Walker III Shares Update On His Future
For the most part, it's been a great season for football fans of the Michigan State Spartans. They finished the regular season 10-2 overall and 7-2 in conference play.
The Spartans are now set to take on the Pittsburgh Panthers in the Peach Bowl on Thursday, December 30th at 7pm.
One of the highlights of the season was beating the Michigan Wolverines 37-33
A low light would have to be the blowout loss to the Ohio State Buckeyes 56-7

Kenneth Walker III took to Twitter to share some personal news about his future
With Kenneth Walker III sitting out the Peach Bowl and entering into the NFL draft, the Michigan State Spartans will have some big shoes to fill.

Walker transferred into the Spartans program from Wake Forest and transformed himself into one of the best running backs in college football.
After finishing the season with 1,636 yards rushing and 18 touchdowns, Walker was voted a unanimous All-American, becoming the first Michigan State player to achieve that feat since Darqueze Dennard in 2013.
Walker ranked second in the country with 136 yards rushing per game and rushed for over 100 yards eight times this season. He went over 200 yards twice.
While it's disappointing to have the star player of your program leave, you can't help but be happy for Walker and wish him the best in the upcoming NFL draft. Hopefully, Walker will land with any team except for the Detroit Lions.
