If you plan on applying, keep in mind that you do have to be a resident of the City of Lansing and you do have to be at least 18 years old. The Citizens Academy program will meet for 11 weeks on Tuesday nights from 6 pm until 8:30 pm, starting on September 8th, 2020. No prior government experience is needed or required and it's free to join. Click here for more information and to fill out an application. And again, today is the deadline for applications.
