Gird your small pets and bird feeders... a coyote has been spotted in East Lansing.

According to WLNS, The City of East Lansing confirmed sighting of the coyote near Chesterfield Hills. No need to worry too much about a coyote attacking you; they usually don't attack humans. If one does get near you, "you can scare them off with loud noises." While a coyote may not pose a threat to you, they can pose a threat to your pets.

Be sure to accompany your small pets outside. Plus, don't leave out any "bird feeders, pet food, trash or other things that might attract coyotes to your yard." Get more details on the coyote spotting here.
