This Lansing BBQ Joint Was Named One Of Michigan’s Best

Saddle up to the table for some of Michigan's best BBQ right here in Lansing.

Recently, MLive put together a list of where you can find the best BBQ joints all throughout Michigan, and one joint right here in our backyard made the list... Saddleback BBQ.

Saddleback first opened up in REO Town in 2015. They did well enough that they opened up their second location in Okemos just last year. Saddleback BBQ received praise from MLive's guest eater on their "Wu Tang Wings"; an original take on a smoked wing. The wings "are smoked, flash fried crispy, super tender and come jazzed with their spiced-up yellow sauce."

Wings aren't the only thing that helped Saddleback make the list of best BBQ joints. Other menu items that stand out include their brisket, pulled pork, beef ribs, devil eggs, pork rinds, house-made pickles, and mac and cheese.
