The Tooth Fairy Is Getting Cheaper
Sorry kids, but I've got some bad news for you. According to USA Today, the Tooth Fairy is now leaving less money for your baby tooth. Last year, the average left behind by the Tooth Fairy was $3.70. But now, it seems that times are tighter in the world of teeth and that amount has now dropped to $3.40. If that news weren't depressing enough, the 'experts' in the Tooth Fairy world also say the number of really generous Tooth Fairies, the ones that leave $20 or more, has also dropped. It used to be about six percent of fairies that did that and now that number has dropped to about 3.6 percent. Oh, the humanity!
Now listen--back when I was a kid, I was lucky to get 50 cents a tooth. So, I don't want to hear any whining! And I had to walk to school--uphill, both wa...well, you get the idea...
