We only live once right? So why not dream a little. Million dollar homes, probably not in my future. But it does not cost you anything to dream and fantasize about the kind of home you would love to live in. We watch all the fixer upper shows on TV, and going through real estate listings is very similar as we get to see what creative things people are doing with their homes.

I love to browse the Zillow app as it has lots of high quality pictures of every kind of home you can think of. And of course all of the sorted details if you are interested in viewing it in person, and maybe even consider buying it.

So I picked out one today to share with you, and naturally I looked for the most expensive home on the market today here in the Lansing area. That’s where we’re going to see the coolest stuff, and this home is loaded with features I love, including fireplaces.

I was really surprised after viewing the photos that it was built in 1926. It’s located on Cambridge Road in Lansing. This home boasts 6 bedrooms, 4 full baths and a half bath, plus a three car garage and it sits on 1.31 acres. The home is 9,576 square feet.

You definitely won’t feel crowded in this home, you can literally get lost here. This home is English Tudor style and was originally built for the Potter family. It features rare Flint Faience tile, leaded glass and warm hardwoods, incredible dining room, Sunroom (I call it the Florida room) and it has a third floor ballroom which the owners say serves as one of the most amazing concert halls in Lansing.
