Ah, retirement. It's far off in my future, but what about you?

Bill Beekman, MSU Athletic Director, announced that he would resign from his position with the school, but would still be in the position until his replacement is found, which is currently underway at this time.

It's one of those things people say "if I had a million dollars I would quit my job right now" but would you actually be able to never work again? In Michigan?
