Today's question posed to the "Chumps" fell under the category of "food" and was, "The world's biggest WHAT was made in New York in 1998?"

We, the Chumps said, "cheescake" based on the New York location.

We were wrong. Again.

The answer was "jelly doughnut". Even though our caller, Jeff, called it a jam doughnut. Close enough. And this happened in 1993. (But who hasn't confused a sloppily written "8" with a "3"?) On January 21, 1993, a 16 foot wide, 3,739-pound jelly doughnut was made in Utica, N.Y., by Hemstrought’s Bakeries and Donato’s Bakery and radio station WKLL-FM (you KNEW some radio station was behind this). We salute the radio station and bakeries who accomplished this.

And if you like doughnuts - you'll LOVE "Pink Dessert Wars", coming up next Tuesday.

Thanks again to Jeff from Jackson for playing "Stump the Chumps". We'll play again next Thursday at 8:05AM.
