MSUFCU announces the return of the Student Art Exhibit. You can check out art from young local artists from seventeen mid Michigan high schools. The artists will showcase their artwork, hoping to earn various awards through community members, judges and social media.

This kind of event is great for our community. Like any form of expression, art can bring people together, like music. The event will look like this, for more info click here:

I think this event is great for high school students. It teaches the students that if you want someting, go after it. It also teaches life lessons about winning and losing. Win with grace and lose with grace, life lessons being learned. I think it's awesome for developing respect. To be surrounded by your peers that love art the same as they do can do a lot when it comes to appreciating other people's work.

I applaud this event and what it does for our community and our future leaders of the world.

Participating in this year's exhibit are Bath High School, DeWitt High School, East Lansing High School, Everett High School, Fowlerville High School, Grand Ledge High School, Haslett High School, Laingsburg High School, Lansing Catholic High School, Lansing Christian High School, Leslie High School, Mason High School, Okemos High School, Potterville High School, St. Johns High School, Williamston High School and Waverly High School.
