Someone Stole An ENTIRE Roller Coaster
There's all sorts of jokes and memes online about how lots of weird stories come from Florida. Well, Ohio may now be giving Florida a run for their money because last week in O-H-I-O, someone stole a roller coaster. Yep, you read that right--an ENTIRE roller coaster was stolen last week at the Union County Fairgrounds in Marysville, Ohio. Officials with the Union County Sheriff's Office have asked that people be on the lookout for the missing ROLLER COASTER.
Here's what you need to know about the missing coaster:
- The roller coaster was on a purple and green trailer
- The roller coaster has alligator-designed train cars and is about 20 feet long
- The trailer had a rear license plate, 22-1246A, registered in Maine
- The coaster was stolen on Wednesday, August 28th
Now, Marysville, Ohio is located just over 3 and 1/2 hours away from Lansing, so it is possible that someone may have been driving northbound last week on US 23 with a roller coaster in tow. If you did happen to see the roller coaster traveling down the highway, or maybe your neighbors suddenly have a really cool roller coaster in their backyard, you should call Deputy Kevin Rigano at 937-645-4110. Here's more from the Facebook page of the Union County Sheriff's Office, including a picture of the stolen roller coaster:
