The National Weather Service posted a reminder this morning that "motorists should exercise caution today as brief but intense showers can quickly coat roads in snow, cause rapidly deteriorating visibility, and change driving conditions in a matter of minutes." That is apparently what is happening in the Lansing area this morning as MULTIPLE slide-offs and accidents have been reported. Some roadways with traffic issues this morning include 127 Southbound at Saginaw, Westbound 96 at the Lansing Road exit, I-69 Westbound near 127 and more...

The National Weather Service says that road temperatures this morning are below freezing and that snow will accumulate on roads and walkways this morning before you see it cover the grass. Please slow down and drive safely!
