Scooter's Coffee Opens First Mid-Michigan Shop in Lansing

Lansing's coffee scene just got a whole lot stronger.

It didn't take long for Lansing's newest coffee shop to finish brewing, because Scooter's Coffee is officially open!

Scooter's Coffee Officially Opens in Lansing

The news about the addition of Scooter's first hit Lansing in early June. Now, here we are in mid-July, and Scooter's is slinging caffeine in all kinds of forms. Scooter's Coffee opened on July 16 at the former Biggby Coffee location at 3335 E Michigan Ave in Lansing, near the Secretary of State.

In addition to coffee and other caffeinated drinks, Scooter's has an extensive menu that includes, sparkling sodas and floats, shakes, lemonades, smoothies, and more. Right now one of their specialty drinks is a Little Debbie Cosmic Brownies latte. When it comes to their food, Scooter's has a very interesting lineup that ranges from mini chocolate chip cookies to bacon cheddar sliders to mini blueberry muffins.

While this is the first Scooter's in the Mid-Michigan area, this is not the first Scooter's in Michigan, as there are locations in Brighton, Commerce Township, and Grand Rapids.

Lansing's Coffee Scene Continues to Grow

If you haven't been keeping up with Greater Lansing's coffee scene, it's been percolating like crazy lately. In the last few months we've seen four new coffee shops open in Lansing, East Lansing, and Okemos. Now, we can add Scooter's Coffee to the very long list of places to get caffeinated in Lansing. Because don't forget, we have some awesome local places like Peculiar Coffee Co, Strange Matter Coffee Co, Blue Owl Coffee, 517 Coffee Company, and more.

If you want to give Scooter's Coffee a try, they kept the old drive-thru for the building, and it's open every day of the week. Monday through Friday, it's open from 5:30 am to 8 pm. And on Saturdays and Sundays it's open from 6 am to 8 pm.
