Scattered Power Outages & School Delays This Morning

Some thunderstorms that went through parts of Mid-Michigan early this morning have caused some a few issues this morning. First, there have been several reports of fallen on some of the rural roads throughout the area. Also, there are some scattered power outages being reported by Consumers Energy this morning. At this point, most of the power outages seem to be near the Eaton Rapids area, around the Jackson area and throughout Hillsdale County. And because of the early morning thunderstorms, there are also several schools that have had to delay the start of school today including East Jackson, Reading and Bronson as they are operating on a two hour delay.
