Reports Of Shots Fired At Central Michigan University
UPDATE: Michigan State Police have confirmed to the media two people were killed in Friday's shooting.
There are multiple reports of shots being fired earlier today on the campus of Central Michigan University. According to the Detroit Free Press, two people were shot at a Central Michigan University residence hall in Mt. Pleasant this morning and the gunman remains at large. Earlier this morning, a text was sent to students alerting them of reports of shots fired near the 4th floor of Campbell Hall, a co-ed dorm.
A post on Twitter from CM LIFE said that the university is urging students to stay where they are and to not leave their dorm rooms/on campus building. Classes have reportedly been cancelled and the campus is on lockdown.
