Record Store Day 2018 is April 21st. I've gone through the list to find what country albums will be released on vinyl that day. Most of these will be offered in very limited releases - 2500 units or less, nationwide - so get there early and hope your store got a copy of what you're looking for. If I were to choose the one I'd want for myself, it would be the "61 Days In Church - Covers" album from Eric Church. This will have 8 cover songs he did live during last years tour, including his version of Bob Seger's "Turn the Page", "Six Days on the Road" and Billy Joel's "Allentown".

Here's the website for more info on local stores participating (On their list is Schuler's Book Store in Eastwood Towne Center - but, they recently shut down - so that's not happening) There are several other places in East Lansing/Lansing participating.

Here's my list of country records being released that day on vinyl:

Things Change - Bobby Bare
At Folsom Prison: 50th Anniversary Elegacy Edition - Johnny Cash
I Love You Because / You're The Nearest Thing To Heaven - Johnny Cash
61 Days In Church-Covers - Eric Church
Memories, Memoirs & Miles: Songs Of A Lifetime - Charlie Daniels
Live at the BBC - Bobbie Gentry
Heart Break - Lady Antebellum
Fearless Platinum Edition - Taylor Swift
Taylor Swift - Taylor Swift

And this one:
Hillbillies In Hell: Volume 666 (Country Music's Tormented Testament: 1952-1974) Various Artists

These are old, rare recordings of country songs that deal with Satan, murders and desperate souls. However - I am a big fan of Don Reno and Red Smiley. Their contribution on this is "Get Behind Me Satan".  Check it out:
