When I moved here to Lansing to join WITL last September, the big question was where do I live.  I stayed in a hotel for a month and basically explored the Lansing area.  I came close to living in a few fine cities like Okemos, Williamston, and Grand Ledge. Someone sent me a message on Facebook and said I should consider Downtown Lansing because there is so much to do. So the first place I looked at, I signed a lease and I am not sorry I did.

I was very excited to move in last October, what was not fun was that it was about the time Covid19 and everything started shutting down and closed early.  It was kind of a ghost town starting last November, Then in February things started to slowly start opening up and getting better.  I knew there were good things coming as the vaccines started, and the numbers for COVID starting going down.

So Here We Are In June

June is here and I have to say I am VERY excited that I made the decision to move to the District area. The bars and restaurants are getting back to normal and I am starting to enjoy all the benefits of living in a great area. I have been to the Nuthouse and the Lansing brewing company and it is so amazing to sit outside and mingle again. I was at the last Friday home game for the Lansing Lugnuts and had a great time watching the game, talking to the locals, and watching the fireworks after at the end of the night.
