The Ingham County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible homicide in Holt. According to information posted by the Sheriff's Office, officials were called to a residence on Glenburry Drive in Holt on Monday night for a report of a "man down." Police say that when they arrived on the scene they found the 35-year old male homeowner deceased.

According to a report from the Lansing State Journal, the man's identity has not been release at this point.  Anyone with information is being asked to contact the Detective Bureau at 517-676-8252. Here's the information posted on the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Facebook page:

On February 4th 2019 at 8 p.m. Ingham County Sheriff’s Office Deputies were dispatched to the 4500 block of Glenburry Dr in Delhi Charter Township/Holt for the report of a man down. Upon arrival deputies found the 35-year old male home owner deceased on the floor of his home.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Michigan State Police Crime Lab who processed the scene.

The death is being investigated as a homicide and there is no reason to believe the public is at risk. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Detective Bureau at 517-676-8252.
