A Michigan-Based Restaurant Chain is Opening Another Lansing Area Location
The landscape of Lansing's restaurant scene is ever changing. And wouldn't you know it, it's changing again. Thankfully, it's with a new addition as opposed to a loss.
Lansing Restaurants
So far in 2024, Lansing has seen a mixture of losses and gains when it comes to eateries. One restaurant to close recently was The Creole Burger Bar & Southern Kitchen in Old Town, and that was around for 10 years.
Some restaurant openings we've seen recently include Big Moe's Kitchen, Middle Eats, and more. And now, we have another one to add to the list.
New Restaurants Opening in Lansing
The new restaurant takes us to Lansing's westside.
That's where you're going to find Pita Way.
Pita Way is going to open another Lansing area location at 4018 W Saginaw Highway, inside the plaza just west of Waverly Road.

Pita Way is a Mediterranean grill that serves up wraps, bowls, a pita/quesadilla combination they call a quesopita, and more.
What's really cool is that it's actually a small, Michigan-based chain. It first got its start in Clarkston, Michigan in 2010. Now, there are 35 Michigan locations with more on the way. Plus, they've expanded into three other states as well; Ohio, Indiana, and Tennessee.
At this time, there's no word on when Pita Way expects to open this location. The outside facade has the Pita Way signage up, but the inside is empty. And there is no additional signage estimating an opening date. The Pita Way website just say, "coming soon".
If you really are craving some Pita Way, there are two other locations. One in East Lansing and one in DeWitt.
