Here’s What the South Lansing Meijer is Welcoming to Town

If you've done some shopping at the Meijer in south Lansing recently, then you've probably noticed that there's a lot going on.

The last time I had stopped at the South Lansing Meijer for a quick errand, I noticed a lot of changes. There were new and differently-styled shopping carts, there was a Tesla charging station, and there was some construction going on in the outskirts of the parking lot.

The building went up pretty quickly, but at the time, there was no signage designating what it was going to become.

Lansing locals in the 517 Living Community Facebook Group suggested it might turn into a Chipotle, others suggested a Panda Express.

What Business is Being Built in the South Lansing Meijer Parking Lot?

Well, now we have our answer as to which new fast-casual eatery will be joining the south Lansing scene.

Your taste buds can look forward to a Panda Express location.

It's official, with signage and everything.

This Panda Express will make the third Lansing location, joining the one on the west side on Saginaw and the one on Lake Lansing near Eastwood Towne Center. However, this is the fifth location in the greater Lansing area; there's one in downtown East Lansing and one in Okemos inside the Meridian Mall food court.

I wonder if we'll see any other food options join the south Lansing Meijer parking lot? There's already a mini Biggby and an adjacent Culver's.
