Over 62,000 Pounds Of Beef Recalled Before Memorial Day
This is NOT good news for anyone who had plans to barbecue this weekend. According to the USDA, Aurora Packing Company is recalling over 62,000 pounds of raw beef products that may be contaminated with E. coli O157:H7. This nationwide recall includes more than 40 different products, most of which are cuts of steak, like ribeyes, as well as ribs and brisket cuts.
Here's what you need to look for:
- The raw beef products were packaged on April 19, 2019.
- The products subject to the recall bear establishment number “EST. 788” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
Since this big recall includes many different products, the UDSA has developed a spreadsheet that gives a complete description of each product that is being recalled. CLICK HERE TO SEE THE COMPLETE LIST OF RECALLED RAW BEEF PRODUCTS. (Check your freezers, too!)
