Old Town Lansing’s Chalk of the Town Is This Weekend!

The annual Chalk of the Town event returns to Old Town this weekend!

Chalk of the Town takes place in the streets of Old Town this Saturday. Artists start drawing their chalk masterpieces at 9 am, and they have to be finished by 2 pm, because that's when judging begins!

If there's a particular chalk-sterpiece that strikes your fancy, you can vote for it for the People's Choice award. Keep in mind that the day's winners will be announced at 3 pm, so you'll need to get your vote in before then.

This event is completely free to attend, plus it's family friendly too! "Families are also welcome to participate in the kid's sidewalk art area."
