Okemos, Pewamo-Westphalia & Howell Headed To Semi-Finals

The high school boy's basketball team from Okemos beat East Kentwood last night in the State Quarterfinals to advance to the State Semi-Finals this Friday at the Breslin Center in East Lansing. The final score of last night's game was 50-45. The Okemos Chiefs will now play Detroit U-D Jesuit at 2pm on Friday at the Breslin Center.

Okemos wasn't the only local team to move on to this year's high school boy's basketball State Semi-finals. Pewamo-Westphalia and Howell also won their State Quarterfinal games last night and will also be headed to the State Semi-Finals at the Breslin Center. The undefeated team from Pewamo-Westphalia beat Cassopolis last night by a score of 70-50. Pewamo-Westphalia will now play Erie-Mason in the Division 3 semi-final that starts at 2pm on Thursday at the Breslin Center.

Howell won their game last night against Saginaw by a score of 57-56. Howell will now take on Ypsilanti Lincoln in the State Semi-Finals on Friday at the Breslin Center. That game will start at noon.
