Two Specialty Stores in Old Town Lansing are Closing
Sadly, Old Town Lansing is about to have some businesses close.
It's always sad to see a business close its doors for the last time, especially if they've been part of the community for so long.
Two Old Town Lansing Businesses are Closing
Old Town Lansing is seeing two longtime businesses close their doors within a month of each other.
The first business, which has already closed its doors at this time, was Curvaceous Lingerie (a women's lingerie store). This was located at 117 E. César E. Chávez Ave (pictured below is a former location of Curvaceous in Old Town).
Curvaceous Lingerie was part of Old Town for nearly 13 years before owner Lauren Long decided to close. The last day was May 3rd.
October Moon is the other retail store in Old Town that will be closing soon.
October Moon is an eclectic store that sells everything from food to jewelry to clothing to little trinkets, and a whole lot more.
When is October Moon in Old Town Closing?
October Moon will close it's doors on June 1st, and until then, they're holding a 50% off closing sale.
It's certainly a loss for Old Town to lose two such unique businesses. There is some hope for one of the former storefronts.

Old Town Commercial Association President, Jamie Schriner, confirmed with Lansing State Journal that "A tenant has already been secured to take over the storefront occupied by Curvaceous Lingerie". However, a business name wasn't given, just a mention that it's an existing Old Town business looking to expand. Only time will tell...
