According to a report from USA Today, at this point Nissan isn't calling it a "recall" but instead they're calling it a “service campaign” to fix nearly 200,000 Altima midsize cars. The report says that the cars need to be serviced because a suspension part can come loose from the frame due to corrosion. People who drive a 2013 Altima in states where salt is used to clear the roads (hello Michigan) are affected by this service campaign. Owners will be notified in the fall to bring their vehicles in to have a rear lower control arm replaced. You can click here to learn more about the Nissan Altima service campagin.
