Over the last few weekends, the Ionia Free Fair has been selling fair food including elephant ears, sausage french fries, lemonade and more. They're actually still going to be selling more fair food over the Memorial Day weekend in Ionia, however, the location has changed. Due to some flooding, the fair food is going to be sold in the Ionia High School parking lot on Tuttle Road in Ionia. The food will be available today--Friday, May 22nd from 4pm until 9pm, Saturday, May 23rd from noon until 8 pm and again on Sunday, May 24th from noon until 8pm. You can find out more here.

HOWEVER, if you don't want to make the drive to Ionia for some fair food, you're in luck because the Ingham County Fair has announced that they will also be selling fair food this weekend. According to the Ingham County Fairground and Exhibition Center Facebook page, the drive thru menu options at the Ingham County Fair in Mason will include pretty much ALL of your favorites including elephant ears, corn dogs, funnel cakes, lemonade, caramel corn, candy apples, slush puppies, french fries, pretzels, chicken strips, nachos and more. The food will be available starting at noon on both Saturday and Sunday. This is a CASH ONLY event and you can find out more about the fair food in Mason this weekend at the Ingham County Fair by clicking here.
