Lansing Has a New Business That Has Opened in Old Town
It's always awesome to see a new, locally owned business open in Lansing!
Lansing has seen it's fair share of business openings recently, even since the beginning of the new year. And there are plenty more still to come.
A New Business Has Opened in Old Town Lansing
However, one new and locally-owned business just recently opened their doors in Old Town.
Old Town excitedly welcomed Chengdu Teahouse to the neighborhood at the beginning of March.
Chengdu Teahouse is situated at the corner of E César E Chávez and N Washington Ave in Old Town, at the former location of Mother and Earth Kids (now located on Lansing's west side on W Saginaw Hwy, near Chuck E. Cheese).

Chengdu Teahouse is a fusion teahouse that offers a variety of teas everyday from 1 to 7 pm. Plus, it offers a couple of cool reading experiences.
There's a 'silent book club' every Thursday starting at 6 pm. You can bring your own book and read quietly. Or, you can grab a mystery book while you're there with Katie's Blind Date with a Book: a book is completely wrapped so you cannot see the cover. You only know the genre and the GoodReads star rating.

Chengdu Teahouse won't be the only new addition to the Old Town Neighborhood; Good Truckin' Diner is moving from it's current location in REO Town to the former space for The Creole Southern Kitchen & Burger Bar.
