More Strong Storms Possible For The Lansing Area This Week
The weather got a little crazy in Michigan over the weekend and there's some potential for it to get crazy again. According to the National Weather Service, there were three confirmed tornadoes in Michigan on Saturday, September 1st. The tornado that was closest to our area, was the EF-0 that hit near Jackson. There was also an EF-0 tornado that hit near Hickory Corners in Barry County and an EF-0 tornado that hit near Morley in Mecosta County. Officials with the National Weather Service also say that there was storm damage near Bath, however, they are still reviewing the information from that damage.
Did you have any storm damage? If so, feel free to show us your pictures! Also, please keep in mind that the National Weather Service says that we could see more strong storms on Wednesday. We'll certainly keep you posted! Click here to see their forecast.
